Long Weekend Ride Report

It might have been cool to start, but another good turnout for Saturday's ride. One of FOG's great strengths is that from the first ride in April until the last ride in November no matter what the conditions, no matter what races are going on, and no matter what other events are taking place a member can show up at the Saturday ride and be assured of having other people to ride with. So even with the snow five intrepid souls made last week's ride. Good on ya! Today 13 made the hard man (and woman) ride in the wind; NW 40 kph gusting to 70 and 6˚C. Most went to Selkirk and back. For the three who went to the big bridge it was quite an experience being buffetted alternately left and right as we crossed the bridge. You know what they say, Manitoba hills...
