2011 Club Uniforms

Fitting for the club uniforms will take place at the AGM on Sunday.

Our uniform supplier will be Champion Systems.  There are many uniform suppliers and pros and cons to all of them. Champions Systems makes good quality uniforms at good prices with a huge diversity of product with the most flexible ordering options.

We have arranged with the Canadian rep to send us fit kits in tme for the AGM. There will LIMITED opportunity to do fittings in the week following the AGM and then the fit kits must be returned. There should be both men's and women's product available.

If you go to the ChampSys web site you will notice that there is a bewildering array of choices. I urge everyone to carefully look at the options including fabric and information on sizing. You will be able to order virtually any of the cycling tops/bottoms/skinsuits as well as arm/leg warmers. There is no plan to order regular cycling gloves or socks at this time. Winter gloves (spring and late fall for us) will probably be ordered (pending demand). Price will be ChampSys's regular prices plus shipping, duty, and taxes.

There will be a lot of members and a very limited number of sizing kits so please plan ahead. One should never wear underwear with cycling shorts, but obviously for sanitary reasons you'll need to do so with the fit kits. Just don't wear that really thick fleece lined set of long johns.


I will get ordering forms out to everyone with approximate prices shortly. I anticipate that you will need to leave a deposit of approximately 50% (cheques payable to FOG are okay). The order will go in a couple weeks after the AGM.
