Beautiful day for a ride. Sunny and 9C to start. 13C by the end. Wind 10-15 kph from the west throughout. 34 riders, with virtually everyone going at least as far as the bridge to nowhere and half doing the BHP loop. A fast and classic group from Lockport on. The speed for each group could probably best be described as brisk, but not extreme.
On the way up to Lockport, River Road was quite surprisingly NOT under water and on the other side of the river the construction around the floodway/Lockport/Hwy 44 has been completed so there was no disruption to our traditional route.
