The longest running cycling race in Manitoba is the Stony Mountain Criterium (Wednesday June 8th) organized by FOG and our very own Marc Fournier. Details here.
Why should FOG members care about races? Because hosting races helps keep our fees down.
Marc will require about 6 volunteers for marshals and two first aid volunteers. They would need to be present from about 6:30 pm till 9:00 pm. He would also appreciate some help for setting up the course (starting 5:00 pm). If you can help please contact him at fournier at mymts dot net
We are all pressed for time. If you can afford the time to attend a number of FOG rides a year, you can afford to volunteer once a year or so. It's part of the package.
