Excepting last year, no matter how good the early spring weather looks the first club ride usually ends up being about the third weekend of April. Apparently Birds Hill Park is fine to ride if you're chomping at the bit, but the first club ride is likely at least a couple more weekends away. Stay tuned for updates.
In the meantime maybe now is a good time to go over your gear. Gremlins seem to do something to our bikes over the winter and every year someone misses out on the first ride because they didn't check their equipment out ahead of time. If you've got new shoes/cleats/pedals ride around the block first.
Remember you must have your MCA membership (or race licence) AND your FOG membership in order before you can take part. No exceptions. See below for the new membership procedure.
