CrossTastic has moved weekends this year to accommodate Cyclocross Nationals. The location is the same as previous years: Whittier Park but it will now be held on October 11th. This is the Saturday of the long weekend, it was the only open weekend available. CrossTactic is the longest running cross race and has been put on by FOG and Friends for many years.
We realize that it will be diffcult to get volunteers on the long weekend so we are proposing to run a strip down version of the race without food and other fancy bits.
That said, we still need, at a minimum, the equivalent of 3 full time volunteers to help with sign-in, checking licences, and helping with finish line, on race day. The other biggie is we need someone with a truck and trailer hitch to help move the equipment trailer to Whittier some time next week in the evening or early Friday morning. If anyone wants to help with course set-up Friday or Saturday morning they'd be welcome, but it's really the first two that we need.
If we do not get the required volunteers we will not be able to run the race and it will unfortunatly be cancelled. So if you are able to volunteer, please let Gary or Anne-Marie know ASAP
Thanks we have help with the trailer. What we really need is help for a few hours on Saturday.

I would highly recommend if you're still needing volunteers to post on Facebook in the Manitoba Cyclocross and/or Everything Cycling Manitoba groups. I myself would be willing to help with setup on Saturday morning
