First Ride 2018

Firstly I hope everyone has had a great winter. Things really looked promising at the end of February and now the weather is 2 to 3 weeks behind where we'd normally be at this time. I'm still pretty optimistic. There's a good chance we'll be out on the 21st, a very slim chance even this upcoming weekend. It's not so much the snow cover this time of year, which is often gone by late March, but more the 'rain lottery.' If it rains we're waiting another week, if it's dry and the temperature and wind are reasonable we'll be out. Safety for a large group on public roads on their first ride takes precedence. Keep checking back.

In the meantime, please use the time to ensure that your equipment is in good mechanical condition. Mechanicals in cold weather suck. There are always things you meant to fix in the fall, but have forgotten.

Please also note that you need both your 2018 MCA AND FOG memberships (check the web site). No memberships = no riding.
