We've been blessed - second weekend in a row where the weather has looked dreadful and we've still managed to get a really good ride in.
25 riders ignored the dismal forecast/radar images and managed a 65km ride. We divided into 3 groups at Lockport and headed straight to Birds Hill Park so we'd be closer to home when the inevitable rains showed up. Yeah we did get a little wet, a ten minute shower hit just as we were about home, but no lightning and the forecasted 50 kph winds didn't appear till well after the ride. The only disappointment of the morning was a power outage meant no lunch at Lee's.
See you Monday.
