The pace was so hot for the long weekend rides that it blistered my tires. Well the pace was hot, and that was my tire after the Monday ride, but it's more a reminder that riders seem to be picking up a lot more cuts and nicks in tires than usual. Maybe give yours a quick going over before heading out.
Turnout last week was good for a long weekend. Twenty-four on Saturday and eleven on Monday. This week is Muddy Waters on Sunday. That often means a smaller or shorter ride on Saturday. But according to Jurgen's informal poll, FOG participation in Muddy Waters seems to be down quite a bit and so we can probably expect our usual ride. See you Saturday!
