Yes, some did ride.
Of the all the forecasts the one that proved correct was the one that called for rain till 11 and then clearing. Everything was wet pretty quickly from road spray, but the rain was light and at 12C the temperature just warm enough with a vest, jacket or in my case a Perfetto jersey. Rewarding ride in the end.
