The annual club BBQ and team photo takes place in June every year (last year on June 26th). For many years this has taken place at Highland Park just up Henderson Hwy from the legion. This was really convenient as it was close to our normal route, we could start and end our ride there, there was an appropriate area for the photo, there was a nice area for a large group BBQ, and there was plenty of parking. To our surprise last year we found that the BBQ pits had been sealed. That is still the case.
We are looking for suggestions for this years BBQ.
1) Do we stay with Highland Park? We would need a volunteer or two to bring their barbeques.
2) Does anyone know of another appropriate location? Keep in mind that in addition to the barbeque area we need a ride route and area for parking.
