Wiggin's hour record attempt will be live on Eurosports starting at 13:30 CDT Sunday. This could be history in the making. Obree says that if Wiggins hits his goal of 55+ it'll put it out of reach for a generation. One has to think he's right. Fabian Cancellara, Tony Martin, and Wiggins are head and shoulders above everyone else as time trialists and of the three only Wiggins is a track man. Being able to put down the power and hold the line while the legs are screaming, and put in lap after lap within 0.1 second of another will be crucial. And how far does he reach? Jack Bobridge went for it and blew up in his attempt. Despite all the preparation, it'll also take some luck. Low air pressure is crucial to the attempt and London has been experiencing a low. But that is forecast to pass.
