April 9/10 Weekend

Firstly, thanks to everyone who completed the survey. The response rate was incredible. The working group will meet on Sunday and develop guidelines to help shape the look of our rides based on what individuals have said they want (as time permits I'll post results too), blended into a group framework. This is a really exciting time for FOG.

First Ride
Different sources are reporting different forecasts, but in general for 0900/1000 they call for anywhere from -5 to -10C, wind 20 gusting to 50, 98-99% cloud cover, and a 50% chance of snow. Although it's bright and sunny as I write this, it'll be a very cold wind chill, strong wind, 50% chance of up to an inch of snow and no sun. There might be a small window of nicer weather at some point, but the conditions look poor for a first group ride. But cheer up, at least it's not like this BHP race on April 16, 1996.
