Il Giro
Over the last few years the Giro has been far more interesting to watch than Le Tour. Hard to believe that it all starts tomorrow. Show your Italian on Saturday.
Criminally there is no coverage on TSN or Rogers SportsNet. You can however, find such wildly popular sports as log sawing and such incredible athletic endeavors as goofs wearing sunglasses indoors (ostensibly so they don't give away a tell) while playing cards. Let them know your displeasure!
There is coverage on RDS. For Anglophones cycling.tv is streaming the Giro live. The first 3 stages are free (on your computer, iphone/ipad, or Android device). The whole race is available as a package for 19.99 USD and you can watch live or delayed. You can also stream from Eurosports if you don't mind a tiny version with poker web site ads. Check out steephill.tv for that.
Now excuse me while I go put a motor in my bike so I don't give away a tell about my lack of watts.
