October 6 Wrap - Cervelo Guys Are Tougher

Or crazier, or ...   Dave F. says the temperature held at -3 until right near the end when it climbed all the way to, wait for it...  +1. The road was dry right in front of my house. I should have looked a little to the right or left; wet roads and puddles in the city. Still, it was dry around the perimeter and that held as we rode up Main Street, indeed wherever things were wide open. Otherwise a little mud here and there, some slush on bridges, and the road was just damp enough to dirty booties, tights, and add a pound to my bike. It was really quite beautiful looking up the river riding along River Rd. Tim T turned around at Selkirk which left five guys on five different Cevelos. Of course he had ridden all the way from home wearing just mountain bike shoes, no booties. Maybe he was the tough one. Or the crazy one. Or...
