Friday Update

First Aid Provider Needed
We are need in of a volunteer to provide first aid at our Time Trial on May 2nd. We have a well-stocked medical kit so you will not have to provide one. You would only have to be present from about 11:00 am for about an hour and a half, two hours tops.

Volunteers
Thanks to everyone who has already volunteered. We could use a couple more marshals and people to work at registration.

Wool Trainers
Yes, it is the sweetes piece of après ride kit in the world. There is one, maybe two left.

- I will be at the April 24th ride. I will NOT be at the May 1st ride.
- Trainers can be picked up before the ride tomorrow. I will not be doing the full ride so don’t count on picking it up after. After tomorrow, they can be picked up at my office in Polo Park. If you let me know, I can also have yours at the May 2nd time trial.
- price is $90 CASH only
- If you have a size issue, let me know and we can try to do some swapping.

Saturday Ride
- All riders need MCA and FOG membership
- The low temp is 13C, so it should be pretty warm from the start, though it’s supposed to be overcast, so it won’t be hot
- The ride will leave promptly at 10:00. If you have not been out to one of the rides yet, please arrive early so you can show Anne-Marie your paperwork
- Based on last weeks ride we will likely end up with two groups from Lockport onward on many weekends. This will allow a variety of ability levels to all have a rewarding and challenging ride. Whether we ride as one, two, or three groups will depend on the number of riders that show up on that particular day and the various ability levels. You can probably safely assume that on race weekends, the turnout will be lower and/or a number of riders will be looking for a shorter or slower ride - therefore it would be more likely to be a single group those days.
- It’s only April, but bring ample fluids
- Although we aim not to leave anybody behind, it can and will happen. Always be prepared (equipment, cell phone, nutrition) so you can make your way home on your own.
- As a rule of thumb once your group is fairly close to the legion it’ll be assumed that if you fall off that you can make it on your own. If you’re in serious trouble call out.
