Cross Labs

For anyone who's considered trying out cyclocross the MUCR gang holds a series of skills sessions each fall. An MCA membership is required (all FOG members should already have one). Although there are specific cyclocross bikes at least half of those racing cyclocross will use a mountain bike or an old road bike with wider knobby or semi-slick tires. It's a lot of fun. In fact 'cross is the one area of the sport that is growing by leaps and bounds.

Cross labs to start this Thursday, 7:00PM, at Omand Creek Park. After that, it will be every Wednesday, alternating between Omand and Whittier until the end of September. These weekday sessions will be skills based sessions and open to all, especially the beginner who is interested in giving this a try.

Wednesday, September 2 – Whittier@ 6:30
Wednesday, September 9 – Omand @6:30
