Road Racng 2015

If you were considering road racing this year, there are a very limited number of weekend road races. The season kicks off this Sunday at Birds Hill Park with Anne-Marie and Jane's WOW race. After that, apart from Provincials, the only other weekend race is May 31 put on by our friends, Junkyard Dogs, in Portage La Prairie. Of course Marc and FOG will be hosting the midweek Stony Mountain Criterium on Tuesday June 9th for the 12th year running! Other mid-week races include Woodcock's individual time trials (great for FOG riders who may not feel comfortable racing in groups), Alter Ego's handicap race, and the training crits at Assiniboine Park - fun races where the emphasis is more on gaining skills and confidence than on winning. Get out and have fun!
